Obey

It does not please the Lord when we come to Him offering praise in hopes of receiving from Him a gift. If you want to offer something pleasing to the Lord, offer Him your obedience. Offer Him that last part of yourself that you have been holding in reserve. If you are holding anything back from Him, that is the very thing that is preventing you from experiencing the freedom you've been seeking, the joy you've been longing for, the intimacy with Him that you desire.

James 4:3
You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.
